World Wide Gap Telecommunications Services is a locally owned, family operated business who has been providing the Tri-State area with superior internet service at competitive prices since 1999.
Larry Grandey Sr. is the president and founder of World Wide Gap. Larry has nearly ten years experience in retail management, where he learned that success comes from providing a quality product at a good price and following it up with great customer service. This is just what he has accomplished at World Wide Gap. In 2002, World Wide Gap was voted the area's best Internet service provider in a local newspaper readers poll. Larry, his wife Jeannette and their two sons Patrick and Colby live in Claiborne County, TN.
Lead Technician Larry Grandey II, is a 1996 graduate of East Carter County High School, in Ashland, KY, and a 1998 graduate of Southeast Community College in Middlesboro, KY, with a degree in computer technology. Larry, his wife Kim and their son Nathan live in Claiborne County, TN.
In the spring of 2003, World Wide Gap Internet Service established a partnership with Southeast Telephone of Pikeville, KY to enable them to become World Wide Gap Telecommunications Services. The partnership allows World Wide Gap to offer a wide array of telephone services as well as expanding the area that we can provide Internet service.
In March, 2004 we opened our first retail location in downtown Middlesboro. Our convenient location on South 19th Street allows us to provide you with better service.
